Description

The ASA aims to enhance the maintenance of the capabilities of the senior population, motivating them towards an active, participative, supportive life, and useful to their social environment. It also intends to promote conviviality; develop a sense of active citizenship; combat isolation/loneliness; improve health and quality of life in general. The ASA, which is free of charge, encompasses several aspects: – Senior Academy aims to boost the occupation of free time, through classes, music, painting, theatre, decorative arts, computing classes, english, sports, boccia, portuguese classes, karate , ballroom dancing and water aerobics. – ASA 4.0 – project in the field of digital literacy. It aims to digitally integrate the elderly population, through the provision of digital devices and content developed to meet their needs. – Let’s go to the Ball aims to provide fun moments. – Colonia Balnear – Holiday week at the beach, to improve social integration.
